I had a good experience at The Standard - East Village, with its warm atmosphere and really good location in the East Village. However, my stay was marred by a noisy party in the adjacent rooms that kept me awake well past 2 AM. While the views from my room were stunning, the loud disturbance made it hard to fully enjoy my time there.

Rooms
7.0
The room was a bit small but stylishly decorated and offered very nice views of the city skyline. The bedding was quite cozy, though space was limited for moving around, especially with larger luggage.
Service
8.0
The staff was courteous and responsive to my needs, even trying to address the noise issue when I reached out. They genuinely made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived.

This hotel is perfectly positioned in the East Village, with easy access to nearby restaurants, shops, and attractions. It's a vibrant area that's great for exploring both Noho and Soho, making it an ideal spot for anyone looking to experience the city.
Dining
6.0
I enjoyed a lovely dinner at the cafe's outdoor dining area, although I would recommend against room service for breakfast due to the mediocre offerings. The cafe downstairs had tasty bites and a great vibe.
Facilities
6.0
While I appreciated the array of amenities available, such as room service and a bar scene, I felt that the quality of breakfast room service didn't match the hotel's overall quality. It may be better to dine at the cafe instead.

I had a fantastic stay at The Standard - East Village, thanks to the warm and attentive staff who really made me feel at home. The room I booked was stylish and spacious, offering stunning views of the skyline. However, I did experience a slight hitch with Wi-Fi connectivity during my stay, which was a bit frustrating. Overall, the location was perfect for exploring the East Village, with plenty of nearby restaurants and shops.

Room service was great, with many options available, although the lack of an in-room coffee maker was a bit of a downside. Still, the amenities offered enhanced my comfort significantly.

I had a fantastic stay at The Standard - East Village, enjoying easy access to the vibrant neighborhood and local eateries. The staff were incredibly accommodating, especially when they helped me celebrate my birthday with thoughtful recommendations. However, I did experience some noise issues from the bathroom exhaust that affected my sleep during the first couple of nights, but overall, the atmosphere made up for it.

While I enjoyed the overall facilities, I found the lack of gym on-premise a downside. However, I had complimentary day passes to a nearby gym, which was a nice touch.

I had a pleasant stay overall at The Standard - East Village, particularly enjoying the vibrant location and helpful staff. However, the room size was quite small, which made moving around a bit of a challenge. The noise from the heating and air conditioning units also detracted from my comfort during the night.

Rooms
6.0
The room was too small for comfort, making it difficult to navigate, especially around the bed. I appreciated the clean amenities, but there was no coffee maker, which I missed. The mattress was comfortable, yet a noisy extra topper caused some disruption.
Service

The staff were warm and accommodating, going above and beyond to ensure I felt welcomed. A personal touch from Maggie, who greeted us and recognized the special occasion, made the experience even nicer. Their responsiveness added a lot of value.

The hotel is perfectly situated in the East Village, just a short walk from St. Mark's Place and plenty of restaurants and bars. I loved the ease of getting around, especially with nearby subway access that made exploring the area a breeze.
Dining

Dining at the cafe downstairs was a highlight with its fresh, local ingredients. While I found it convenient, I did look for alternatives nearby for a broader experience.
Facilities

Amenities included room service and access to Crunch gym, which was a nice bonus. However, I found the gym location a bit lacking in maintenance. Overall, the facilities met my needs but weren't really good.

I had an enjoyable stay at The Standard - East Village, with its trendy vibe and prime location being standout features. The views from my room were amazing, especially during the sunset, but I did find the room to be a bit tight, especially with a king-sized bed taking up most of the space. While the staff were accommodating and friendly, I was disappointed by the lack of complimentary drinking water after my first day. Overall, if you don’t mind compact spaces, this hotel offers a lively atmosphere in a fantastic neighborhood.

Rooms
8.0
The room I stayed in had lovely views of the Bowery and the city, but it was quite snug, not leaving much room to move around comfortably.
Service
8.0
The staff were really attentive and helpful throughout my stay, making me feel welcome and catering to my requests, although I encountered a delay in service at times.
Location
10.0
The location in East Village was fantastic, with plenty of nearby restaurants and a vibrant atmosphere, making it easy for me to explore the area.
Dining
8.0
I enjoyed the delicious food at the on-site restaurant, but I think it would be better if they offered complimentary options for breakfast rather than just charging for room service.
Facilities
7.0
The amenities were quite satisfactory, but I felt the lack of complimentary drinking water beyond the first day was a bit odd for a hotel of this caliber.
